Sender: Victoria Pennick [vpennick@iwh.on.ca] Subject: Staff Changes at Back Group We have had a number of personnel changes at the Back Group editorial base. It is with mixed emotions that we announce the resignation of one of our Co-ordinating Editors, Lex Bouter. Lex has been with the group since it was a sub-group with the Musculosketal Group, and we will miss his 'steady hand at the helm'. We wish him all the best in his new position as the Vice Chancellor (Rector Magnificus) of the Vrije Universiteit and Windesheim, in Amsterdam. We are very pleased to announce that Maurits van Tulder will be assuming the role of Co-ordinating Editor. Maurits is an author or co-author of 14 Back Group reviews and our methods guidelines and has been an member of our Editorial Board since 2002. He has published widely in the field of back pain and is known and respected worldwide for his work. We look forward to working with him in this new role. Maurits can be reached at mw.vantulder@vumc.nl. Claire Bombardier is continuing in her role as our other Co-ordinating Editor. We are pleased to announce that Allison Kelly has joined us as part-time Administrative Editorial Assistant and Rachel Couban as part-time Trials Search Co-ordinator. We welcome Allison and Rachel and hope that with the new set of skills they bring, we will be better able to support our authors. Both of these ladies can be reached at cochrane@iwh.on.ca. A special Thanks to Heather Widdrington for her work and support over the past year. She has moved on to another position within our host agency, the Institute for Work & Health and we wish her well.
