Health policymakers’ views and experiences of knowledge translation approaches to facilitate evidence-informed decision-making: a qualitative evidence synthesis

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (qualitative). The objectives are as follows:

The aim of this review is to synthesise the qualitative evidence on health policymakers’ views and experiences of knowledge translation approaches to facilitate evidence-informed decision-making.

The specific objectives are to:

explore health policymakers’ views and experiences of knowledge translation approaches to facilitate evidence-informed decision-making; and

develop an understanding of what and how different factors (e.g. context, barriers, and facilitators) of knowledge translation approaches influence evidence-informed decision-making amongst health policymakers.

This is a protocol.
