This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:

To assess the efficacy and safety of surgery plus standard medical management, compared to standard medical management alone, in people with spontaneous supratentorial ICH, and to assess whether the effect of surgery differs according to the surgical technique.
